Project Title: NEET Women in Industry
Objective: To ensure the employment of 50 NEET women through training programs in manufacturing industry, industrial automation, CNC, and welding technologies, and to create a model for companies that can be disseminated and replicated.

Project Outputs
-A needs analysis on women’s employment was conducted in Başkent Organized Industrial Zone (OIZ), a workshop was organized, and a report titled “Women’s Workforce in Başkent OIZ” was prepared.
-Networking and experience-sharing meetings were held with women employed in Başkent OIZ to encourage women’s participation in industry and to serve as an inspiring model for other OIZs.
-Theoretical and on-the-job training programs were provided to 43 NEET women in the fields of manufacturing industry, industrial automation, CNC, and welding technologies.
-25 participants received complementary training through virtual reality (VR) technology in the field of welding.
-The project supported the employment process of all trained NEET women in 15 companies located in Başkent OIZ; as a result, 22 young women were successfully employed.
-In addition to the 50 NEET women trained within the project, 75 individuals, including OIZ management staff and company employees, participated in equal opportunity training aimed at promoting gender equality and improving workplaces for women’s employment.
-Short films highlighting the success stories of women employed through the project will be produced and disseminated.
-To further share the project outcomes and the developed employment model, a panel on “Women’s Employment in Ankara’s Industry” was organized.
