Project Title: The Blossoming Hopes of Disaster-Affected Women
Objective: To support the employment of NEET women affected by the Kahramanmaraş earthquake, who are seeking work and/or are spouses of incarcerated individuals, through vocational training at a newly established Gastronomy Center.

Project Outputs

• A Gastronomy Center was established within the soup kitchen set up under Osmaniye Municipality.
• 102 NEET women received gastronomy training, including the preparation of locally geographically-indicated dishes.
• Women who received technical training also participated in personal development workshops.
• Meetings were held with employers in the Organized Industrial Zone (OSB) to support the employment of trained young women, and their placement in company kitchens is being facilitated.
• Support is provided for women to generate income through a women’s cooperative established with municipal support.
