The “Empowerment/Access to Rights and Services” training, organized within the scope of the Young Women Building Their Future Project, was held on January 24, 2023, in Adana, in collaboration with Seyhan Municipality, at the Seyhan Women’s Solidarity Center. The project is supported by the Sabancı Foundation and implemented by the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) and the Sabancı Foundation in collaboration with the Ministry of Family and Social Services and the Ministry of Labour and Social Security. The training was designed for NEET young women aged 18-29 and covered the following topics: Access to Financial Resources and Entrepreneurship, Cooperatives and Cooperative Models, Women’s Rights and Access to Rights, Social Services for Women.
Additionally, participants were introduced to the Opportunities Map, a platform that enables young women to access job, internship, education, and entrepreneurship support opportunities across Türkiye.
