The module titled “Communication and Conflict Management,” held online on September 3, aimed to help NEET women strengthen their communication skills and adopt healthier approaches in conflict situations. The program addressed common communication mistakes to raise participants’ awareness. Emphasis was placed on the use of “I- statements” and active listening techniques, discussing ways to build more constructive relationships in both work and social life.
Participants also learned the steps of conflict resolution and had the opportunity to practice through mediation examples. Within this scope, effective expression skills, boundary-setting methods, and communication strategies aimed at understanding different perspectives were developed.
Throughout the training, role-plays, small group scenarios, and discussion circles were used to enable participants to experience and reinforce what they had learned. This way, participants improved their ability to both protect themselves and produce constructive solutions during conflicts.
