As part of the Young Women Building Their Future Project, the Assistant Chef Training was conducted in Diyarbakır from April 19 to October 3, 2023, in collaboration with the Diyarbakır Chamber of Commerce and Industry (DTSO). Young women participated in the training under the guidance of master instructors, learning: cooking techniques, cutting and chopping methods, basic sauce preparation. In addition to theoretical and practical lessons, participants attended empowerment-focused sessions on: Access to Rights and Gender Equality. Upon completion of the training, participants earned the “Assistant Chef Vocational Training” certificate approved by the Ministry of National Education (MoNE) Lifelong Learning General Directorate Module. Additionally, participants were introduced to the Opportunities Map, a platform that enables young women to access job, internship, education, and entrepreneurship support opportunities across Türkiye.
