Within the scope of the project, a capacity-building training was organized in Ankara on 13–15 January 2026 for İŞKUR Job and Vocational Counselors and experts from Provincial Directorates of Family and Social Services, as part of the provision of face-to-face career counseling services to NEET women in the pilot provinces (Istanbul, Ankara, Bursa, Gaziantep, Samsun, and Afyonkarahisar).
During the three-day training, current approaches to the NEET concept, the needs of NEET women with a focus on employment, good practice examples from around the world, and multi-stakeholder cooperation models were addressed. As part of the program, participants carried out hands-on activities aimed at strengthening guidance and mentoring perspectives, acquiring tools to better understand NEET women, and developing individual action plans.
The training aimed to enhance the quality of services to be provided to NEET women in the pilot provinces, strengthen counseling and communication capacities, and develop a shared approach in project implementation.
