Empowered Women of Seafood Industry Project Certificate Ceremony, İzmir

  • News

As part of the “Empowered Women of Seafood Industry” project, implemented by the İzmir Commodity Exchange Education, Culture, and Social Integration Foundation (BORSAV) in collaboration with the Mediterranean Conservation Society, 13 young NEET women successfully completed the seafood processing training program and earned their lifetime-valid vocational certificates. The training, conducted in coordination with Buca Public Education Center and hosted by a leading seafood processing facility at Buca Fish Market, provided participants with hands-on industry experience. Many of these young women had no prior work experience and have now secured employment at the facility where they received their training. Additionally, a Retail and Sales Shelf Staff Training Program was completed on October 14, 2024, further expanding career opportunities for participants in the seafood industry.
