The second local stakeholder meeting of the project, supported by the Sabancı Foundation and implemented by the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) and the Sabancı Foundation in collaboration with the Ministry of Family and Social Services and the Ministry of Labour and Social Security, was held in Diyarbakır, one of the project’s pilot provinces.
During the meeting, a situation assessment was conducted regarding young women in Diyarbakır who are neither in education nor employment (NEET). Additionally, a stakeholder consultation session was held to gather opinions and recommendations.
A total of 76 representatives from the Ministry of Family and Social Services, Ministry of Labour and Social Security, Sabancı Foundation, UNDP Türkiye, public institutions, chambers of industry and commerce, NGOs, and universities attended the meeting.
