As part of the Young Women Building Their Future Grant Program, the Ada Lovelace Academy Project is implemented by SistersLab – Women in Science and Technology Association. The project aims to enhance the skills of NEET women aged 22-29 who are engineering graduates in the fields of DevOps, Cybersecurity, Data Science, and UI/UX Design, facilitating their entry into the workforce.
The first academy program focused on Data Science and was conducted between November 2023 and January 2024. In addition to technical training, participants received seminars and mentorship support on topics such as: Gender Equality, Interview Techniques, CV Preparation. A total of 32 young women successfully completed the training and are now being matched with partner companies of SistersLab to support their transition into employment.
