As part of the Young Women Building Their Future Project, the “Barista” training was held in İzmir from May 29 to July 7, 2023, in collaboration with the İzmir Metropolitan Municipality Vocational Factory. A total of 19 young women participated in the training to learn the fundamentals of coffee preparation and brewing techniques. In addition to theoretical and practical sessions, participants attended empowerment-focused training on: Access to Rights and Gender Equality. Even before completing the training, two participants secured employment. Additionally, participants were introduced to the Opportunities Map, a platform that enables young women to access job, internship, education, and entrepreneurship support opportunities across Türkiye.
