The first vocational skills training of the Young Women Building Their Future Project, supported by the Sabancı Foundation and implemented by the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) and the Sabancı Foundation in collaboration with the Ministry of Family and Social Services and the Ministry of Labour and Social Security, was held in İzmir. The “Prosthetic Nails and Nail Decoration” course, organized in cooperation with the İzmir Metropolitan Municipality Vocational Factory, took place throughout March. A total of 31 NEET young women participated in the training, where they learned the technical aspects of the profession through both theoretical and practical lessons. In addition to vocational training, participants also received empowerment-focused sessions, including: Communication Skills, Access to Rights and Empowerment, Role Model Meeting.
