The first face-to-face training of the Young Women Building Their Future Project, supported by the Sabancı Foundation and implemented by the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) and the Sabancı Foundation in collaboration with the Ministry of Family and Social Services and the Ministry of Labour and Social Security, was held on November 10, 2022, in Menemen, İzmir, in partnership with Akçansa. The training was designed for NEET young women aged 18-29 who are actively seeking employment. It provided detailed information on the job application process and CV preparation and included an interview simulation. Additionally, participants were introduced to the Opportunities Map, a platform that helps young women access job, internship, education, and entrepreneurship support opportunities across Türkiye. The training was organized at Akçansa’s facility in Menemen, İzmir, as part of the Sabancı Republic Mobilization initiative.
